Silanwei: The first phase of the 8-inch SiC chip project has been completed, with an annual production capacity of 420000 pieces

The groundbreaking ceremony of the film manufacturing production line was successfully held. Several core management teams, technical experts, and industry chain partners attended the event to witness the important milestone of Shilan Microelectronics' production line layout.

Shilan Microelectronics stated that the project focuses on silicon carbide MOSFET as the core product, mainly serving high demand fields such as new energy vehicle main drive inverters. It can better meet the demand for silicon carbide chips required by domestic new energy vehicles and has the ability to provide high-performance silicon carbide chips for power inverter products such as photovoltaics, energy storage, charging piles, AI server power supplies, and large white electricity intelligent power modules. At the same time, it promotes the coordinated development of 8-inch silicon carbide substrates and related process equipment in China.
